Scott is 5! FIVE!?!?

Since Matt had a cookie-cake, I think Scott wanted to be different and wanted a brownie-cake. I brought a gluten free brownie mix from the States and made this. It didn't really turn out the way I wanted, but does it ever? The original plan was put an 8-bit style Mario on it (like Matt's 1up), but before we started I counted out how many I would need of each color and we didn't have enough... But Scott said, why don't we put a 5 on it? So, it was better because HE came up with the idea and he loved it all the more.
Not sure why he's so particularly excited in this picture, but he sure is cute.

 Thinking of his wish...

Happy Birthday Scott! We could not be more pleased that you are our firstborn child. You are reliable, helpful, and so loving. We love your smile, your laugh, your ideas, your spirit. We can't wait to see what an amazing person you turn out to be! We are truly blessed to be your parents.

Here are a few shots of his Montessori celebration, which happened two days later.
The earth goes round the sun...
Pictures from his life...
He's learned to do as the Asians when taking pictures...
This pictures kills me. He was really working hard to blow out his candles.
