Work

I get so busy at work. Sometimes when I finally go to the bathroom, I find myself wondering how long I've been putting it off. Two hours? Three? That's not healthy. I just had lunch at 3:15pm. How does work become priority over my physical needs?

maybe you need to schedule lunch in! and restroom breaks too! get a buzzer!!!! or if you have a calender on your desktop set it to remind you!!!! usually when you are engrossed in something you dont notice your body's signals

i do the same thing...we could have such better bladders if we actually went to the bathroom when we needed to but drat this busy, fast paced world we live in where we try to cram in just one more thing before we call nature back!! I love you and your insights! -becca

I did that when I was working... it wasn't the best thing when I was pregnant because I would hold it, not realizing it, then all of a sudden I'd have to rush out of something important. Good times.

I find going to the bathroom inconvenient at work. I avoid it because our bathrooms are naaaasty! So maybe you just have an inherent fear of public restrooms and it has nothing to do with your priorities.

(Where do you work? PS, this is Sarah Taber from way back when.)

That used to happen at my last job all the time- it had all the spastic commotion of a fast-food restaurant with all the urgency of a hospital diagnostics lab. (Because it was. For kitties.)

I quit that job.... : D
