I feel advanced.

So, I know this is a weird reason to begin a blog, but I had something I wanted to say and I wanted people to read about it. I just brushed my teeth. (Here's the preface now.) I am starting to fall asleep and my husband said we were going to go to bed earlier tonight than we have the past couple nights. Well, he's been working hard on homework, so he wanted some time to wind down and play his game on his PSP. I was sucked in to various sites, so I don't mind. Well, I finally tore myself away from the neverending web-browsing that can take place to brush my teeth. We started a new tube today. It's Aquafresh Advanced. It gives you 25% stronger enamel*. Have you ever noticed the * at the end of statements like that? I work for Nature's Way and they have those all over their products. So, I thought this * would lead to a statements I have seen many times on many of Nature's Way products, "This statement not approved by the Food and Drug Administration." But it didn't! It said, "as shown in laboratory tests compared to regular Aquafresh." Wow. I definitely feel like my enamel is stronger after using this. I don't know if I would go as far as 25%, but I feel like I have stronger enamel, and therefore. I feel Advanced, with an intentional capital A.

While a missionary, I was terrified of having to have dental work overseas, so I scrubbed my teeth hard for 4-5 minutes every night (with a hard bristle brush).

When I got home my dentist told me that I had worn down almost all of the enamel from my teeth, and there's no way to get it back. Enjoy it and keep it strong, sistah.

Out of curiosity, what does going to bed early mean to you? I told a guy the other day that I usually go to bed around midnight and he almost gagged (he's a 10 pm dude)...

I like to go to bed around 10pm, but lately we've been going to bed around midnight or even a little later. When I was first married, I went to bed at 9:30pm. I realized later that I always got tired at 9:30pm, but when I was single and in school, I fought through it until I got my second wind. Since I had now graduated to marriage, I just decided to go to sleep. Now I know that I don't need that much sleep, and going to bed early doesn't help me get up early, so I should probably try to sleep less. Ah well.

Austin pulls the "early to bed" thing on me every night. But I tell him I don't need 10 hours of sleep... it just isn't natural. But low and behold every night at 10pm he is ready to get in bed. Of course we don't finally go to sleep until 10:45ish (I get my second wind and start talking :)

I guess I should look at the fact that he has to get up at 6am and I don't have a set time to get up since I work nights.... :)

With this much commentary on a blog I don't see how you can't keep posting to it!
